Living History Day

April 27th. At the SDA Arvada church (same place that Good Shepherd meets). The morning session starts at 9:00AM to 12:00PM and the evening at 1:00PM to 4:00PM. This is a chance to see some of us in really weird costumes, and talk really strange, etc. It's going to be interesting.

Speaking of digging...

I have a question. I've talked about it with the six nuts and it's quite an interesting topic. Ok, here it is: Imagine that the earth is dirt all the way through, if you dug a hole straight through and came out the other side and then let go, would you be floating up or falling down?

It's just one of those crazy thoughts, you know?

This is a post.

Therefore the blog must be a post hole, where you put posts.

Someone who spends to much time on the blogs is a post hole digger.

This explains why phds are out of touch with reality.

Posts? What posts?

It has recently been brought to my attention that there has been some complaints about the number of posts from the "other" three nuts. Well, as one of those nuts, I am actually POSTING to settle the matter. The reason is...............................................well, what do you think is the reason?

Thank you and have a great day.

Gus

P.S. This might be my last post for the next, oh say, month or so. Maybe! It might be longer. We'll never know. You'll just have to wait and see. Maybe! So, consider yourself lucky. Until my next post....we'll see you later.

Its the END!

Of "lol". It's so non-original, so boring, so mild.

So my friends and I decided to start the new laugh'n lingo.

BAG

"Busting a gut"

or

BMG

"Busting My Gut"

Okay? Lets conquer this old "lol" thing forever!

Have fun,

David

Hockey, Football or Basketball

Since Ultimate Frisbee has been more or less voted down, I decided to bring in basketball to take it's place. So - what is the best of these three?

Snakes and Snails and Puppy-dog Tails...

I’ve been thinking lately, after some rather recent events, about the difference between guys and girls. Such as, why is it that when a girl gets a grass stain it is considered a disease and when a guy gets a grass stain, he shows it off as a trophy. Girls see it as a bother and guys want to know how they got it such a deep color green. Another thing…bruises? When a girl gets a bruise she tries to hide it with whatever she has, but when a guy gets a bruise, he tries to show it with whatever he has. Girls comfort one another when one gets a bruise but when a guy gets a bruise, they say, “That’s awesome! How’d you get that?!”, and the bruise-ee goes into his glorious story of how he got tackled by a 6 foot 4, 256 lbs. sack of muscles. Why is that? I understand that God made us different for a reason and for that I am very thankful. Guys add brawn into the world and girls add grace and intelligence. (Admit it, fellas.) If you look at it, I'm glad God's in control.

I've just let my mind wander lately and I still haven't gotten it back.

By the way, grass stains do come off. Th-weet, huh?

Dodge Viper or 2007 Mustang by Giugiaro

This is Bub. As you probably know, I have a blog called "Some Lil' Guy's Blog." There's a poll about which is better: Dodge Viper or Ford Mustang. I have pictures and everything. The whole sha-bang. If you want, go and vote. I'm not here to tell you which one to vote for, (go mustang) ahem, I mean, yeah, vote for whichever one.

There's a link to my blog on the left side of this page called: Bub's blog.

Home School Day at the Capitol

Hey there,

Today all Six Nuts attended Home School Day at the Capitol. We had a great time (at least I did). My highlight of the day was taking some 375+ pictures that are going to take forever to go through. But I already have one order for a CD of them... those poor folks don't know what they're asking for. I'll see if I can post some of them on here soon (my camera battery just died, so it will take a little bit).

Anyhow, I thought I'd just let you know what was juicy for me today and I hope that you shall comment and tell us all what was juicy for you!

Sincerely,

Jeorge

Eggs or Eggs

Would you rather have a hard boiled egg (i.e. boiled for five min.) or a "soft" (right from the chicken) egg thrown at you?

I was pondering this earlier today, and I thought I'd ask what you thought.

Have Fun,

David

Making this World Happier, One Wave at a Time!

I've had a campaign that's been put on hold through the winter that I call, "Making This World Happier, One Wave at a Time!" Now here's what you gotta do: Once you see a car driving by, you lift up your arm and hand and wave vigorously...but not to vigorously. We wouldn't want you to pull something. My reason for this is in Texas, everybody waves at each other. Now I don't know if Texas is the happiest place on the earth but I know of some former-Texans that miss that part about it. When you're in the car and you drive by somebody, all you have to do is just lift you hand in a simple wave. When you're on the street playing football or the like, when somebody drives by, wave at 'em. (Forget this elbow, elbow, wrist, wrist, business. Just wave.) My lawyer will not let me sleep if I don't put this in there: Use discretion of who you wave to. I know I have taken it upon myself to make this world a better place to live, but I still understand that this is a weird world, filled with weird people. So just be carefull. As for myself, I am gonna try my best to make this world a happier place for our children and our grandchildren and our great-grandchildren and our great-great-grand children and our great-great-great...you get the picture.

So go ahead...Wave! Who's with me?

Stay out of trouble,
Bub

Happy Easter

Hello!

Today the Six Nuts and some other friends had an Easter Celebration at which we had a Great Time and I took some pictures. So, without Further Ado, I shall go ahead and explain the above pictures from Top to Bottom.

1. This is Bub, expounding to those who will listen the great knowledge held within the pages of this book (1776)

2. This is Bub posing for me.

3. This is Bub showing off his cool welt he got when Birdman (a.k.a. Tweety) snapped a rubber band on his hand.

4. This is Frankie.

5. This is the six nuts (and some others) trying our hand at hand bells...

6. And finally, a very, very long board game called Axis and Allies. I mean it took a long time to play.

Thats all for now, let me know what you think!

Sincerely,

Jeorge

Please enjoy my first post. Read it very carefully. There is nothing unusual about it.

Completely Oblivious

Well, I have a blog now, thanks to my wonderful fellow nuts. Great buddies. There I was, playing an inocent game with other friends (not that this matters any, I'm just trying to get you readers on my side) completely oblivious to the conspiracy around me when my great buddies up and start a blog for me. Just like great buddies, they give me added responsibility. Great buddies of mine, aren't they? Well, I guess I shouldn't be too hard on them, seeing as how they are a couple of nuts. More than a couple. Anyway, I am fulfilling my duty and posting on my blog. So, please enjoy this website and remember, always keep an eye (or two) on your great buddies.

Later,

Frankie

To be serious, or not to be serious. (Sigh) That is the question.

What up, all? After reviewing the last three posts of my fellow nuts, I am happy to reassure you, as the reader, that I will be the only one on this blog with some sort of sense and seriousness. Feel free to ponder our posts, and if need be, take some sort of comfort in the seriousness from me.

In all seriousness,
Gus

My Debut

Hello folks! This is my debut, so I'm feeling pretty special. This is what I have to say to you: "Speak softly, carry a hockey stick, and you will go far." But it also helps to have ice skates. So maybe this would be better: "Speak softly, carry a hockey stick, wear your ice skates, and you will go far." Jolly good eh? Anyway, let me know what you think - and whether or not you think the hockey skates should be included.

Ever So Sincerely,

Jeorge

The Six Nuts

Well, I must say that I am quite honored to be part of such a prestigous group like "The Six Nuts." But I must ask, who came up with "The Six Nuts"? I mean, if I thought long and hard about it, it might just hurt my feelings being refered to as a nut. I mean, whatever happened about caring for other's self-esteem. OK, maybe I helped come up the idea, but that is so not the point here. We are talking about a group of six fellas, who are quite quirky, especially when you get them all together......late at night....playing "Apples to Apples"...yeah, yeah, we're The Six Nuts. That's us. Self-esteem aside, this is the blog for The Six Nuts. I hope you enjoy.

Stay out of trouble,

Bub

Talk about a great thinker...

...Thats me. Aren't I humble. This is a awesome idea. All six of us will be posting here. Please leave your comments with a name.

Have Fun,

David
