Elections...

Hey Everybody,

I believe abortion is the biggest issue to consider when you vote tomorrow. In this two party system, Obama or McCain will win the presidency and Shaffer or Udall will win the senate seat.

The question to ask is, under what candidate will the unborn have a better chance to live.

Remember, we only have three choices:

1. Vote for Obama
2. Vote for McCain
3. Not vote or vote third party (same effect on the lives of the unborn)

Option two will give the unborn the best chance to live. It is a Christians duty to vote for McCain and following the Biblical Principle of Valuing Life! Again, unless you are breaking a biblical command by voting for McCain, you must do so if you believe in following biblical principles.

I know the argument about the qualifications for a judge given to Moses. If we were choosing a president out of all the people in the nation, those verses would be applicable. However, God in His providence chosen that McCain or Obama will win the next presidency. Our job is then to select the one that will more closely follow God's principles.

I hope and pray that God will give you wisdom as you go to the polls tomorrow!

Have a great day! Be praying tomorrow!

David

P.S. This isn't the defense I was talking about, but it will have to do. I'll post the whole essay later after the election (it will still be applicable to future elections).
