YAHOOOOO!

I'm so happy, I'm not the only PHD left!

And um....uh....I think I was going to say something else...uh....

OH YES! Thought ya'll might be interested in this (Who wouldn't?):

I think Albertsons has a sale on canned beans right now that goes something like this:
"3 for $0.88"

Have Fun,

David

Qdoba is better, but I'll still go.

Sarah,

You have NEVER been to Chipolte. Therefore, you should not be making a comparison when you haven't even tried it.

David, You are so awesome! I knew we would get you on the good side.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
That 'bout sums it up.

Ya know, he didn't say that Chipotle is better than Qdoba.

Tina the Talking Tummy said...

No he didn't, but it's implied, because there's NOTHING better than FREE FOOD! (Or $0.29 food...)

Anyway, the debate really should be over which restaurant's name is harder to pronounce.

Chipotle is harder to pronounce. Qdoba is much easier.

QDOBA IS BETTER THAN CHIPOTLE

Tina the Talking Tummy said...

Qdoba has a 'q' next to a 'd'. Now how is that easier than Chipotle!? Is it qwuhdoba? qweedoba? cuedoba? kuhdoba? And then there's the dilemma as to whether the 'o' is said like 'oh' or 'ah'.
With so much confusion, it can't possibly be superior.

My goodness. Say Q and then say DOBA. It's as easy as that. I actually think that people have a harder time trying to pronounce Chipotle than Qdoba. The "Cuedoba" pronunciation is about right.

QDOBA IS BETTER THAN CHIPOTLE

Tina the Talking Tummy said...

Chipotle has the word "chip" in it, which is reminiscent of chocolate chips, which you apparently love, therefore,
CHIPOTLE IS BETTER THAN CUEDOEBAH.

So Chipotle has chocolate chips in it? Gross! Anyway, you are not going to change my mind, so save your fingers.

QDOBA IS BETTER THAN CHIPOTLE!

Tina the Talking Tummy said...

I type with my nose and/or toes, so don't worry about my fingers.
STOP JUDGING SOMETHING YOU'VE NEVER TASTED!

Anonymous said...

I've smelled it...and seen it. That's enough. And I'm gonna taste it soon to prove my point. Actually, I'm not going to taste it to prove my point. I'm going to taste it because it's free. I would pay $6 for a Qdoba, but not Chipotle.

SAVE YOUR NOSE, SAVE YOUR TOES, VOTE FOR QDOBA!

Anonymous said...

Beth, I've got the point. You don't like Qdoba and you do like Chipotle.

Tina the Talking Tummy said...

You're the one who keeps going with this. I mean, seriously, two posts in a row...WOW you're outa control!!
;P

Surely we can agree on something...
How about:

TACO BELL'S MYSTERY MEAT BURRITOS ARE INFERIOR TO BOTH CHIPOTLE AND QDOBA!

Anonymous said...

I actually don't eat Taco Bell.

Tina the Talking Tummy said...

HOME-MADE BURRITOS ARE BETTER THAN QDOBA and CHIPOTLE...?

(Work with me here!)
:P

Anonymous said...

Tough Question. Depends on the type of home-made burrito. If it is the Ogg recipe, it is probably the same as Qdoba and better than Chipotle.

Tyler Weaver said...

chipotle is miles better than qdoba. nuf said. a person would only go to qdoba if it was the only thing in town.

Ohhhh...you are missing out on a ton if you don't go to Qdoba. I had Chipotle for the first time today, and Qdoba is EONS better than it. I'm serious. Besides, Qdoba doesn't play rock and roll really loud and have a really strange atmosphere. It's nice and bright and clean. That way their food tastes better. I love Qdoba.

Ok, ya'll, on the pronuciation aspect of this post, Chipotle is broken into three words, "CHIP-OAT-LAY." Qdoba is...um....also broken down it three "sorta" words, "Q-DOE-BU (something like Bub without the last B.)" So, hopefully that eased this quite agressive discussion which I'm not even going to get into because everybody knows where I stand on this issue anyways. Toodleth!

Anonymous said...

Oh come on Sarah, you have to admit it was good! And I won't take offence to the "strange atmosphere", seeing that I was standing right next to you the whole time! :) You can like the other better if you want -- just let us know when they have there free food day! :)

Hey, you guys... go check out the Chipolte web-site. Go to ads, radio and click on "Life is Burritoful." Crazy - somebody really didn't have anything better to do with their time. :P

Anonymous said...

Sarah, you made me bust several guts.
That's not quite what I meant. I think you know what I meant -- remember, we were trying to figure out those weird things on the walls? "somebody really didn't have anything better to do with their time." Right? Well, I seriously don't think anyone will change my mind about liking Qdoba better than Chipotle -- but we'll agree on this (okay, Beth?) ... Starbucks is better than both!

Hmm, sounds like the "anonymous" poster "didn't have anything better to do with their time," considering that they found that song. ;)

And yes, Yay Starbucks! Good ol' overpriced, addicting, Starbucks...

Anonymous said...

...literally. If you haven't already guessed it, I'm addicted. That stuff is awesome!

first of all... when we went the last time(about 9:45pm) we, along with about 6 other people started singing the national anthem and several other good songs wile waiting in line. I don't remember any other music but the acoustics in that building was awesome. Secondly I've had qdobas several times and just don't care much for their boritos at all. chipolte's hot salsa is miles better. :)

--tyler

p.s. starbucks is lame. go get your self some NOS(cheaper with a bigger kick)

Anonymous said...

I agree that Chipotle's hot salsa is a lot better than Qdoba's, but Qdoba burritos are tons better than Chipotle. 4 people other than me in our family like Qdoba better too.

I don't think any coffee place can be better than Starbucks. It's way the best!

David said...

How about naming those 4 people...?
