Well, when I went from using almost 86% to 39% a sigh of relief came out... I know that one day, I will have to empty out my inbox, but until that day comes "LONG LIVE GOOGLE!"
On your question, I think they do have the space.. just look here Wikipedia If they don't have enough space, I'm positive they have enough money to get it.
